Choosing the right Airport?

Panay Island Jetty Port to Boracay Island:
Your boat ride could be anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes, that will depend on the Boracay resort you are staying at, resorts on the northern end of the island take longer to reach, as they are further from Panay Island. Also during the low season, all bancas are now required to drop passengers off at the Tambissan Jetty port just 20 minutes from Panay Island.

SPECIAL NOTE: Please do not let any Online Travel Agency tell you that the Kalibo route is a non-recommended way to travel. I have traveled both routes on several occasions, I have enjoyed each route for what it offers. The Kalibo route is much more scenic and if you are from a foreign country and have not seen much in the way of provinces, then you may very well want to choose this route.

The airfare using SEAIR is higher than Cebu Pacific or Philippines Airlines, therefore the agent doing your booking may try and persuade you to fly this route in order to collect a higher commission.
